چکیده
Background & Aims Little is known about the relationship between ustekinumab exposure during first 2 weeks of treatment and outcomes patients with Crohn’s disease (CD). We investigated serum concentrations endoscopic biochemical remission in CD. Methods In a prospective observational study, we measured samples from 41 consecutive who started (approximately 6 mg/kg, intravenously, then 90 mg every 8 weeks), due to markers active CD, at single center October 2017 through January 2019. parameters (peak concentration immediately after intravenous infusion, week concentration, area under curve 2). correlation these (simple score for CD scores 3 or less without ulceration, assessed centrally) (level fecal calprotectin below 100 mg/kg) using Mann-Whitney U test. Results Endoscopic was achieved 10 (24.4%) 24; 17 (41.5%) 8, 16, 21 (51.2%) 24. Peak associated (area receiver operating characteristic curve, 0.717; 95% CI, 0.517–0.916); 13 (46%) peak above 105 ?g/mL (upper tercile) remission, compared only 1 14 (7%) 88 (lower tercile). All were remission. There no significant difference associations concentrations, week-2 2, later measures (at 4 8) Conclusions found that as early hour infusion might be used identify most likely achieve This measurement optimize

Adalimumab induction and maintenance therapy achieve clinical remission and response in Chinese patients with Crohn's disease
BACKGROUND/AIMS This was a Phase 2 study (NCT02015793) to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacy of adalimumab in Chinese patients with Crohn's disease (CD). METHODS Thirty, adult Chinese patients with CD (CD Activity Index [CDAI] 220-450; high-sensitivity [hs]-C-reactive protein [CRP] ≥3 mg/L) received double-blind adalimumab 160/80 mg or 80/40 mg at weeks 0/2, followed by 40 mg...

Background The purpose of the study was to determine if clinician predicted prognosis is associated with patient outcomes. Methods The study was a secondary analysis of data that were collected in 8 physiotherapy outpatient clinics. Nine physiotherapists with post-graduate training in manual therapy (mean 20.3 years of experience) were asked at baseline to project the outcome of the patients ...
متن کاملNoninvasive biomarkers as surrogate predictors of clinical and endoscopic remission after infliximab induction in patients with refractory ulcerative colitis
BACKGROUND/AIMS Treatment of refractory ulcerative colitis (UC) is a clinical challenge, and after biological therapy, monitoring clinical and endoscopic responses is fundamental. We aimed to investigate and compare the predictive power of different noninvasive parameters for clinical remission and mucosal healing after infliximab induction therapy in refractory UC patients. PATIENTS AND METH...
